DIY- Bottle cap charms

  • Bottle caps (I bought mine at Michael's)
  • Mod Podge Dimensional Magic
  • 1inch round patterned paper (I used scrapbooking paper. I pinned some for you here)
  • glue and brush

These come together easy and are very versatile.
If you are printing your own images, uses a heavy cardstoc or photo pater.

  • First you want to brush glue on the inside of the bottle cap. It has to be a light layer.

  • Now set your paper circle in. If your bottle cap has holes, or you plan on making a necklace, make sure you line up your pattern with the holes. With the brush, layer on a light coat of glue. The glue will keep the paper from curling.

  • Once the paper is dry, you are going to add the dimensional magic. Make sure you DO NOT SHAKE IT. Shaking will create bubbles, and those and not good. If your cap has holes, use that as a guide for how much dimensional magic to add. If you get bubbles, blow them with a straw or poke them with a safety pin.

  • Let the dimensional magic dry for at least  24 hours before you handle the bottle cap.
From here you can apply a magnet on the back, add a chain, or decorate any way you want.

Hope you have fun making these!
